CINCINNATI STYLE CHILI

This type of chili is best described as unique. It originated in the Cincinnati area based on Greek influenced family recipes. What separates it from Southwestern or Texas-style chili is that it is flavored with not just chili powder but many other spices, including cinnamon, allspice, and cloves.

Well known regionally and made popular through the franchise Skyline Chili headquarters in Ohio. This distinctive recipe can be replicated at home using Uncle Bruce Seasoning.

Traditionally used to top spaghetti or coneys, ways also include adding raw chopped onions, red kidney beans, and grated mild Cheddar.

This is a great dish for a party or tailgate because it is versatile and can be served in multiple ways.

Follow this recipe with Uncle Bruce Cincy Chili for easy authentic meals.
