Chop your red, yellow, green bell peppers and onion into bite sized pieces. Add olive oil and sauté over medium heat. |
Fajitas can be vegetable only or add meat. Chicken or steak is the common choice. Seasoning can be accomplished in various ways. If vegetable fajitas are your choice, then add 1/2 a tablespoon directly to the sautéed peppers and onions. For grilled chicken, we recommend making a marinade with the seasoning. Ahead of time, mix 1-2 tablespoons of fajita seasoning with 1-2 tablespoons of water and vegetable oil. Add 1 pound of chicken to a zip lock bag and add marinade mix. Allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes. Fire up the grill and cook chicken to 165 degrees and remove when done. |

Adding vegetable oil to the marinade helps prevent the chicken from sticking to the grill when you flip it. |
After you grill your chicken and let it rest for a minute or two, cut the chicken and mix with the sautéed peppers and onions. The Uncle Bruce Fajita Seasoning will combine with the vegetables for a deliciously seasoned and unique fajita flavor. Add some additional seasoning directly to the combined meat and vegetables to give extra flavor. |
